About the Role

​

This is a fixed term contract (term time only) to cover the one to one support required by an individual pupil.  This position is offered on a one year fixed term contract for afternoons only but additional hours may be available during the term.  There is also a possibility that this contract may be extended beyond July 2021.

About You 

​

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and nurturing Teaching Assistant experienced in working with children with additional needs / learning difficulties and with strong behaviour management skills to work with an individual pupil to support them to access learning in their classroom.

• show creativity in motivating, engaging and challenging children in their learning

• be resilient and reflective, always striving to improve

• be positive, caring and enthusiastic

• be a team player who supports others and shares good practice

• be flexible and adaptive to change

• work alongside outside agencies to deliver specific programmes of work

 

Do you have :
 

• good behaviour management

• experience of working with children with additional needs

• ability to work in a team

• ability to work 1:1 and in small groups
