Class Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NVQ L3 Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and able to show high levels of initiative. Knowledge of the Early Years curriculum is desirable but, more importantly, we are seeking an individual who is keen and quick to learn and who is an excellent team player.

Teaching Assistant 

We are seeking to recruit a full time Teaching Assistant to work under the guidance of the Inclusion Team / Therapy Team to provide one to one support to a pupil with a physical disability.  You will assist in meeting the learners’ need for encouragement, reassurance and comfort and attend to their personal requirements and physical care while encouraging independence at all times. This is a funded role (term time only) which will terminate when either the child leaves the school or funding ceases.

1:1 Support

We are seeking to recruit a full time Teaching Assistant to become part of our strong and effective team.  The role will involve supporting children in class and working independently with small groups as well as working alongside the teacher to support children’s learning, social and emotional needs. This rewarding role requires someone who is caring, motivating and patient.    The year group has not yet been determined but will primarily be in KS2 (Y3-Y6).

Gorse Ride Schools is a member of the Forward Thinking Partnership which is a group of local schools who work collaboratively to raise local standards of teaching and learning.  Both Head Teachers and Business Managers meet regularly are committed to the development of good practice, shared CPD and the development of a coaching model.  Throughout the year, all members are responsible for delivering initiatives which contribute to the overall work of the partnership.
