We have a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to support our Governing Body.   The role of the Clerk is to provide efficient, effective and confidential administrative support to the Governing Body in the performance of its statutory obligations.  You will have a key role in promoting the effective governance of the School and ensure proceedings are conducted in accordance with all relevant legislation/regulations and established guidance. You will manage Governing Body meetings, draft agendas, produce accurate and concise minutes of meetings and maintain information on membership and advise the Governing Body on procedural matters where appropriate.

CLERK TO GOVERNORS

We are looking to appoint lunchtime playworkers to join our lovely school. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, reliable and keen to support the school. You will need to be flexible, ideally have experience of working with children, ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding at all times.

Successful candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including: eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer. Gorse Ride Schools is a member of the Forward Thinking Partnership which is a group of local schools who work collaboratively to raise local standards of teaching and learning.  Both Head Teachers and Business Managers meet regularly are committed to the development of good practice, shared CPD and the development of a coaching model.  Throughout the year, all members are responsible for delivering initiatives which contribute to the overall work of the partnership.
