Lunchtime Playworker

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our school as a Lunchtime Playworker. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for pupils during lunch breaks. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with pupils, organising games and activities, and promoting positive social interactions.

Successful candidates will be subject to a thorough screening process, which includes checks for eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure, and comprehensive references. This will include a reference from your most recent employer. Additionally, please note that Gorse Ride Schools places great emphasis on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe environment, social media checks may also be conducted. We expect all staff and volunteers to share our dedication to safeguarding and welfare.

Gorse Ride Schools is a member of the Schools Learning Alliance which is a group of local schools who work collaboratively to raise local standards of teaching and learning.  Both Head Teachers and Business Managers meet regularly and are committed to the development of good practice, shared CPD and the development of a coaching model.  Throughout the year, all members are responsible for delivering initiatives which contribute to the overall work of the partnership.
