1:1 / 2:1 Teaching Assistant

About the Roles

These roles are both fixed term contracts (term time only) to cover the one to one support / two to one support required by individual pupils.  

 

Position 1 : this is a fixed term contract for one academic year which will terminate July 2021 but may be extended for the academic year 2021-2022 subject to approved funding. Your role will be to continue the support and learning of a pupil with additional needs alongside, and in consultation with, other school staff.  

 

Position 2 : this is a funded role where you will be working 2:1 with another Teaching Assistant to support one pupil with additional needs.  This role will terminate either when the child leaves the school or when funding ceases.

About You

  • work alongside outside agencies to deliver specific programmes of work

 

Do you have :
 

  • good behaviour management

  • experience of working with children with additional needs

  • ability to work in a team

  • ability to work 1:1 and in small groups

 

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
